Snyder sets fast time for 3rd time at Berlin 06/27/2009
The Vertech Motorsports team traveled to one of their favorite tracks, Berlin Raceway in hopes to break the track record and break the string of bad luck plaguing the team. In hot laps the car was not very quick, but Robert and Brian made the necessary changes to adjust to a hot slick track to give Snyder a car he could put back on the Pole for the 3rd consecutive time at Berlin with a time of 13.150. Snyder Started 6th in his heat race and battled his way to a 4th place finish. With threatening weather in the area Snyder knew he had to make his move quick in the feature. With a 10th place starting spot, Snyder took to the high grove moving to 7th in just a few laps. The car was quick and Snyder was moving on the leaders when something in the driveline broke taking Snyder out of yet another race. The team will be running Dixie Speedway next on July 3rd.

Snyder tries the high banks of Salem04/25/2009
Derek Snyder and the Vertech Motorsports team took the long drive to their season opener at the extremely fast high banked Salem Speedway. In his heat race, Snyder got a great start from his 6th place starting position, and was able to charge to a 3rd place finish. Snyder started on the outside of the 4th row in the feature, he had a good start but fell back and had to drop out early because of oil pressure problems, finishing in 14th. The team looks to get the problems resolved and have a better showing at winchester. The salem race can be seen on the comcast network thursday may 7th and on www.mustseeracing.com. Back from South Africa11/21/2008
Hey everybody! I'm back from South Africa now, and the reality of work and the freezing cold weather is setting back in. I had a blast in South Africa and have more stories than i can possibly share here. I have met some incredible people, been part of some great racing, and have seen a beautiful country in the past month. I am extremely grateful to all of the people that were generous enough to take great care of us while we were there. I want to thank to Mocke family, Kallie Newman, and all the others that helped make my trip one to remember. I had a great time and hope to see everybody again soon! I will be posting some pictures from the South Africa trip pretty soon so keep checking the site! Also I will be running in a go kart league so I will post updates from that on the website. It's wonderful to have opportunities like South Africa and I once again want to thank everyone that made that a possibility!

South Africa Update!!11/06/2008
Hey everyone! Sorry, I haven't had much time to get on the internet and keep everyone up to date. Everything is going pretty good here, I am having a lot of fun and have met a lot of great people. The last couple of days we went deep sea fishing, didn't catch anything but we saw some whales and some sharks so it was totally worth it. As far as the racing goes, the first race at Vaal got rained out, the second race was at pretoria, I blew my motor in hotlaps and had to jump in johan roos's car. for the races. The format is different, instead of having heat races and a feature, they have three short features. the first race, the car was pretty good and I finished 7th, second race I finished 6th I believe and the third race I finished 8th or 9th. They are putting another motor in my car this week so it should be ready for vaal this saturday. I miss everybody back at home and I can't wait to see you all again. I'll try to post some pictures soon as well.
