Robert Snyder (Dad)
-Crew chief
Robert is Derek’s dad and Crew chief of Vertech Motorsports. Robert sacrifices a lot for the team, and has more passion and drive to race then most. Robert is a huge asset to the race team and is very valuable both on and off the track. Robert has previous driving experience in Midget racing and puts that to use with the team. Robert has owned an electrical contracting company and now owns RS Biomedical.

Erin Watkins
-Girl Friend
Erin is Derek’s girlfriend of two years, and is a great help both on and off the track. She will be in charge of writing press releases, and also helps Derek at the track and in the garage by keeping the car clean, organizing, and helping Derek strap in the race car. She makes sure the crew is always fed and has plenty to drink, also she is one of the best looking girls at the track ;) Erin enjoys going to races, shopping, and watching movies .

Laurie Snyder
-Mom
Laurie is Derek’s mother. She has been involved in racing for a long time, and still enjoys helping. She is usually in charge of making food for the races and helping get things around that the guys don’t think about. Laurie also makes shirts for the team and is in charge of prayer before the race. Laurie is a nurse and enjoys showing and riding horses.

Scott Waldron
-Truck Driver/Crew
Scott is the newest member of the team and is fairly new to Sprint Car racing. Scott hauls the trailer to the track and helps to setup and maintain the car at the track. Scott is a great help and we look forward to having him on the team for a long time to come. Scott works on small engines at Ace hardware.

Robert Snyder Sr. (Papa)
-Derek's Grandpa
Robert (Papa) is the one who started this whole racing thing many years ago. Grandma and Papa come to Michigan every summer mostly to go racing. Papa has incredible commitment to the sport and to our team. He is great to have around and always keeps team morale high. We and many other teams always look forward to having papa around.

Shannon Snyder
-Sister
Shannon is Derek’s sister, and has always enjoyed going to the races and helping out. Shannon helps wherever she can, from pushing the car to helping Derek get strapped in the car. Shannon has no specific duty but is always there to help when you need a hand, she is also a great asset. Shannon works with Derek and her Dad at RS Biomedical Inc.

Chris Duff
-Shannon's boyfriend
Chris is Shannon’s boyfriend and also a great friend of Derek’s. Chris is a great help around the track and in the garage , and is always at the races. Chris also adds a lot of fun to race day.

Brian VanVorst
-Derek's Uncle
Brian is Derek’s uncle. Brian started helping Derek’s dad when he was racing and still helps Vertech Motorsports when he can. He recently moved to Arizona so he won’t be able to come to any races but he will always be part of the team. Brian is an electrician
